2023 Complex Systems Design & Management (CSD&M) Conference

The international conference “Complex System Design and Management” (CSD&M) is an annual meeting point for academic researchers and industrial & governmental players working on complex system and enterprise architecting & engineering. This MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) key event provides opportunities to update and brainstorm on methodological researches & technical practices and professional case studies on complex systems from a scientific & industrial perspective.

CSD&M was created in France in 2010 by Prof. Daniel Krob and organized each year by the French non-profit organization CESAMES within the CESAM community. Its Asian editions were organized in Singapore every two years from 2014 up to 2018.

In 2020, the CSD&M Asia conference moved to China due to the precious support of Prof. ZHANG Xinguo, aiming to cover a broader range of industrial actors and researchers. The first CSD&M Asia conference in China was hosted by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA) in Beijing in 2021 in a hybrid format due to the pandemics. Still hundreds of domestic research institutes, industries, system experts and scholars were enthusiastically engaged and present.

During CSD&M 2022 in Paris, CESAMES and CSAA agreed to merge CSD&M Europe and CSD&M Asia conferences into one unique series of conferences, hosted alternatively in China and France. A unified domain name of www.csdmconference.com was set for 2023 (see http://2023.csdmconference.com/) and future editions.

As one of the key event of the MBSE & systems architecting communities in the world, CSD&M has been gathering worldwide major actors in order to share and brainstorm on science, methods, tools and business cases. CSD&M 2023 will continue on this way! Planned by October 30-31, 2023 in Beijing and now its Call for Papers being open, you are welcome to submit papers with research results or industrial applications before May 12th, 2023 and come to brainstorm with worldwide peers on the D-days.
