Bio

  • She is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University. She received her Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she also obtained two master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering and Statistics. She currently serves as the deputy director of the Institute of Operations Research and Data Science in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University. Her research interests include decision analysis, risk analysis, and data-driven behavior modeling, with a focus on providing novel and practical solutions to society to tackle challenges involving risk, uncertainty, and value trade-offs. She has been on the editorial board of Decision Analysis and worked as a co-editor for the special issue of Risk Analysis. She has presided over or participated in projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). She published papers in prestigious journals such as Operations Research, Decision Analysis, Risk Analysis and IISE Transactions, being applied to complex product development, supply chain management, aviation risk assessment and other management fields.
