Bio

• Dr. Lefei Li is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Industrial Engineering of Tsinghua University. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Ph.D. in Systems and Industrial Engineering. Currently, Dr. Li is the Deputy Director of the Department of Industrial Engineering of Tsinghua University, Executive Deputy Director of the Complex Systems Engineering Research Center of the Department of Industrial Engineering of Tsinghua University, Deputy Dean of the Institute of Quality and Reliability of Tsinghua University, and Standing Deputy Dean and Secretary-General of Institute of Interdisciplinary Medicine and Engineering of Tsinghua University.

• He has undertaken or participated in more than ten projects supported by the National Basic Research Program of China (Program 973), the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Innovation Methods of Ministry of Science and Technology. Under the support of the National Key Research and Development Program of China, he has researched the whole life cycle management process of high-speed trains for safety and reliability and participated in the formulation of national standards. He has also been involved in the research and construction of the system engineering promotion system for enterprises.

• Currently, Dr.Li is the associate editor of international academic journals such as IEEE Intelligent Systems, Asia-Pacific Operations Research, DTS, etc., the editorial board member of Journal of Automation, Journal of Command and Control, as well as the assistant director of the Academic Committee of INCOSE (International Society of Systems Engineering), Beijing Vice President and former Chairman of the Chapter. Dr.Li has published more than 20 papers in international influential academic journals, received two first prizes for scientific and technological progress at provincial and ministerial levels and been supported by the Beijing Young Talent Program. He has also published 25 articles in authoritative journals and influential international conferences such as Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, IISE Transactions, etc., as well as one monograph and one textbook.
