Dr. Yang, currently the president of Flight Automatic Control Research Institute, expert of airborne system professional group of CST of Military Commission, vice chairman of GNC Branch of Chinese Aeronautical Society, academic committee member of the Key Laboratory of Inertial Technology and Aeronautics, First Deputy Director of National Key Laboratory of Aircraft Control Integrated Technology, Vice chairman of Shaanxi Society of Aeronautics & Astronautics. He successively won 4 awards of the National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award,17 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, and published 20 papers.
Dr. Yang mainly engaged in technologyand product research, and the development of airborne navigation guidance and control systems. He presided over a number of 863 programs, and major projects of civil aircraft scientific research. He was in charge of the research and development of multiple navigation and flight control system products, and led the team to break through aseriesof bottlenecks technologies in laser strapdown inertial navigation system and integrated navigation system, and formed pedigree productswhich areinstalled in many main Chinese aircrafts. He realizes the independent research and development of aviation navigation system, and makes outstanding contributions to the career of airborne guidance, navigation and controlofChina.
